Online test registration for SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject Test www.collegeboard.com and

ACT www.act.org

Make sure your junior year courses are meeting college entrance requirements.  The UC/State University a-g list is posted in the Counseling office, or online www.ucop.edu/pathways.

 October

CSU Schools are accepting               

applications October 1st

Take the PSAT during October. 

November

Juniors can take the SAT Subject exams at any time.  Understand the two (s) Subject Test requirements for UC’s.  Some private colleges require 3 SAT Subject Tests

January

AP students, consider taking the SAT Reasoning Test in March

February

Register for the ACT test.

Register for the May SAT Reasoning

March

Sign up for your senior year to consist of 5 academic subjects (UC’s recommend 5 a-g’s

April

Attend the East Bay St. Mary’s College Fair,

Summer 

Goal: By September, you should have completed at least one round of tests,  have a preliminary list of colleges which you are going to apply, a draft of your college essay and persona statement, penciled completed applications for private colleges,
